  • How do I know if my child needs speech and language supports?
    Your child’s pediatrician may notify you based off parent interview or developmental milestone checklist. You can also utilize resources such as www.asha.org. They have helpful guidance if you have concerns regarding receptive/expressive language, stuttering, voice, pragmatic language, motor speech concerns, feeding concerns and more.
  • How long/frequent are sessions?
    Speech therapy sessions can range from 30- 60 mins. Speech session frequency and duration is based on specific client needs.
  • Does my child need to be evaluated before starting speech therapy?
    If your child has not been evaluated within a 6 months- to a year an evaluation is necessary to gather accurate data to create a plan of care.
  • Where can I find information regarding speech and language disorders/delays?
